About the Event:

Umpqua Community College Foundation is holding our 2nd Annual Legacy Ball fundraiser on Friday, November 10th. This year's event will feature a masquerade ball, raising funds to unmask the power of an education. Last year's event was sold out! With 400+ attendees, we raised $200,000 to support the continued rebuilding of UCC and to endow the scholarships in the names of the Umpqua Nine, who we lost on October 1, 2015.

This year,we are offering an After Party! Can't make it to the dinner and program?  That's ok!  Purchase an After Party ticket for $25 and enter the event at 9:00 pm and enjoy dancing, a dessert bar and our very own lounge!

The evening will celebrate our students as we continue to fund the scholarships in the names of the Umpqua Nine, and to support UCC's top priorities for student success.

Our Legacy Ball is an opportunity to transform students' lives through the strength and generosity of community support.  UCC student Rene Thompson received the Lucero Alcarez Memorial Scholarship that was endowed with funds from the 2016 Legacy Ball.  She says, "Upon receiving the news that I had been chosen to be the recipient of this scholarship, I was beyond joyous.  Attending college has been a goal of mine for many years and I am grateful that you have played a prat in my journey to higher education.  As a first-generation student, I speak on behalf of myself and my family for your generosity and kindness."

Please join us in making student dreams a reality.
